Biography

Sam C. Jones is an actor, multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter and composer. He is originally from Alexandria, Virginia, just outside our nation's capital. Sam caught the theatre bug watching his mom play piano for a local summer theatre, and eventually joined the group building sets and running crew. When he took the stage for the first time in high school, he knew it was where he belonged.

Sam has appeared around the country as Elvis Presley & Carl Perkins in the hit musical Million Dollar Quartet and was a regular artist with the Sacramento Theatre Company. Other theatrical credits include The Legend of Georgia McBride, A Midsummer Night's Dream and Ragtime.

Recently, Sam has jumped headfirst into the old-school-country genre. His single "Pour Me Another" - featuring Americana darling Hannah Jane Kile - an old-school country homage to Willie Nelson and Johnny Cash. His latest single "I Don't Want to Be An American Anymore" is a Woody Guthrie style protest song in reaction to the January 6th, 2021 insurrection in Washington DC. His new EP "Overdue Confession" is a sweeping tour through the Americana landscape, with everything to blazing guitar solos to heart-wrenching ballads about the sea.

Sam has supported national touring acts such as Ryan Cabrera, Lincoln Durham and Creed Bratton of The Office. He likes long walks on the beach, whiskey neat, and playing with dogs.
